FNGs in NYC

The Red Rooster, in Harlem.  And no, you don't need to be a girl to be a Friday Night Girl!
How have I not posted anything about my beloved Friday Night Girls before?

We are a group of 4 Charter Members (we are inclusive, however, and have several rotating Guest Members) who meet at least once a month to eat, drink, talk, and laugh (and as of last Friday, sing, but that is an unfortunate incident best left for later).

At Balthazar, for our favourite meal of all time.
We have been going strong for years now, and though we started in local restaurants, now we mostly meet at someone's house.  Bubbly is always on the menu.  We all have partners, but sometimes it's fun to leave the fellas at home, since it's easier to complain about them that way. We have also taken our show on the road, with a weekend in NYC last February. Over 2 days and nights, we ate or drank at Balthazar, the Doughnut Plant, the Algonquin, Babbo, the Chelsea Market, The Red Rooster, and so much more.

A note on the name: It comes from a segment (23:50) on an old Canadian TV show called CODCO. It is hilarious, but you might need to know some Newfies to really get it.
